Home Again

And we're back.  After a stop in TX and then AZ we were able to make it home to Nor Cal Sunday night.  We were sad to leave all the places we've been, but are definitely happy to be off the road....I think we need a break from cross country road trips for a bit.  And I'm not sure that I'm gonna miss road trip snacks...I think we've eaten enough candy (ok, maybe just me) to last a lifetime over the last week.  I never thought I'd say that I am "candy-ed out" haha (for those that know me well...I have a slight addiction).  Thanks to those of you who continued to lift us up in prayer while we traveled!  They were definitely felt.

We were happy we were able to make our stops in TX and AZ where we were able to stay and rest with family we don't get to see very often - so nice to have that time together.

With one of Kaleb's bro's and our sister in law in TX, such a great time!

Visiting in AZ.  Our nephew sure loves his Uncle Kaleb! :)
On a nice little sunset hike

Our nephew loved riding on his Dad's back in his fun pack.
He was so comfy he fell asleep! :)

SO...."what's next now for the Poth's?" you might ask.  Well, for right now we will be in Nor Cal working full time on raising up ministry partners - people who would like to partner with us in our ministry.  We will also be starting our next Bible class, New Testament Survey, through independent study (excited for that!).  I know some have also asked, "when do you move to Maine?"  We get to move to Maine once we are 100% fully funded.  So, that will be whenever the Lord has planned :).  We are praying that we are there by September, but who knows what God has in store.   We will be keeping everyone updated.

We are really looking forward to being a part of a ministry that is using the outdoors to connect with college students and share Christ.  If you'd like, take a look at this short article published by Worldwide Challenge (Campus Crusade's magazine).  It was published this past summer and is about the experience of one student involved with Lifelines at the University of Vermont campus.  It gives a good example of some of what Lifelines is about:

Also, don't forget to check out the Lifelines at U Maine website, they're pretty awesome....I mean, I might be a bit partial ;), but you should check them out and see what they do - what we'll be apart of:

Until next time....
