Life at Training

I can't believe we are about to enter our last week of training.....we feel like we've been here forever in some ways and also feel like it's flown by so fast - if that makes any sense at all!! haha.

Since arriving, we've been going non-stop (seems to be the norm of life with us :) ) - but it's been going great!  We finished our theology and Bible classes - had our final last Monday.  We felt like we were in college again hittin' the books hard, having homework everyday...projects and papers to write....I don't miss college ;) lol :).  But at least we loved the information we were learning.  We are excited to use what we've learned in ministry.

We are excited for this last week of training and are looking forward to moving on to the next stage of our journey together! 

We've only been out on the beach a couple times since being here, but it was nice when we did go out - chilly, but pretty :)

Happy New Year!

We hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!! :)  I can't believe how quickly this last week or so has flown by - we've had an amazing time with family and friends here in Georgia!

Tomorrow we hit the road again to head down to Orlando where we will stay the night with some friends.  The next day we will travel to new "home" for the month, Daytona Beach, for training. 

Thank you all SO much for your prayers over the holiday as we traveled from Nor Cal to Georgia!  The drive went really well and our new car did amazing!!  It drove really great and handled great :).  We ended up driving straight through and just switched off - one of us would sleep while the other drove and visa versa.  I'm not sure that we'll do that the next time we drive cross country, haha, but it worked really well and we made it to Georgia in 44 hours.

In other news, we are praising God for bringing in more funds for our training!  As of right now, God has provided $4,700 which puts us just $50 from our half way point!  We only have $4,800 left to raise!!!  It has still been so amazing to see how God continues to provide!  Praise the Lord!!

We are looking forward to getting started on our training time in FL.  We will keep you all updated!  Until next time..... :)
